The core wire been manufactured ACSR conductor as per ASTM B 232 – 86 & latest revision
The lay factor of the steel wire shall be not less than 18 and not more than 30 times the out side diameter of the stranded core with the lay in right hand direction.The steel core wire shall be provided by use of suitable corrosion inhibitor grease or oil.

The weight and Uniformity of coating and zinc adhesion is in accordance with ASTM B498,Details is as following table :

The stranded steel core wire to be supplied in single length of 4 KM+ 2% in wooden drum.The wooden Drum must be sturdy treated,wrapped with polythene paper of suitable rust& moisture protection inside the wooden packing.
